MatchPoint is the Brazilian network that connects tennis, beach tennis, padel and pickleball players to courts and opponents at their own level.

What MatchPoint is

MatchPoint brings together in one place what is scattered today across WhatsApp groups, phone calls to the venue and spreadsheets: finding an opponent at your level, booking the court, splitting the payment between players, tracking your ranking and joining events.

The platform is not just a booking system. At its core is the match between players: a tiered ranking per sport defines who it makes sense for you to play against. Booking the court follows from having found the match.

How it works

For players

You open a match or join an existing one, filtering by sport, level, singles or doubles, format and time. Whoever creates it sets the accepted skill range, so nobody lands in a lopsided match by accident. The court is booked inside the platform, with time-conflict detection, and the cost is split between participants — each person pays their own share, by PIX or card, with nobody left chasing the others for money afterwards.

Every match played moves your ranking in that sport. There are seven divisions — Rally, Deuce, Advantage, Break, Ace, Match Point and Grand Slam — and you climb by accumulating Legend Points. The maths runs against the opponent's real strength: beating someone above your level pays more, losing to someone below costs more. Tennis, beach tennis, padel and pickleball carry separate rankings, because being advanced at one says nothing about the others.

Beyond matches there is a feed where results and milestones reach the people who follow you, tournaments and events open for registration, and a sportsmanship score that rewards behaviour — finishing the match, confirming the score promptly — rather than winning alone.

For venues and clubs

A venue registers each court individually, with its surface (clay, hard, grass, sand or synthetic), indoor or outdoor setting, its own price and its own rules. It sets opening hours, blocks periods for maintenance or private events, and applies discounts to specific time bands. Bookings arrive paid, and the payout is automatic.

In the dashboard, a venue tracks occupancy, revenue and peak hours; creates tournaments and events with registration and brackets; manages staff with role-based access; and can advertise to players nearby, choosing which sport to target.

For coaches

A coach builds the schedule from weekly availability, blocks holidays and personal dates, and creates one-off lessons or recurring class groups that repeat on their own. Students join by link or invite, with an automatic waiting list once a group fills up.

Attendance is recorded at class time, billing runs through the platform, and missed lessons turn into credits according to the policy the coach sets. Every student has a history and progress notes.

Where we operate

MatchPoint serves Brazil, in Portuguese and English, with payments in Brazilian reais via PIX and card. Operations start in Curitiba, Paraná, and grow city by city alongside partner venues.

Who is behind it

MatchPoint was founded in 2026, in Curitiba, Brazil, by João Camargo, who leads the platform's product and engineering.
